The iPhone 17 Pro Max is still a top phone a year on. You get a 6.9-inch screen, the A19 Pro chip, a large-sensor 48MP main camera and a big battery, up to 5088mAh on the eSIM-only model. In a nutshell, if you can find a clean unit at a good price now that the 18 Pro Max is out, you're getting most of the experience for a lot less money.
